The History of PORT ROYAL WESTERN

16th and 17th centuries, the first Frenchmen set sail for the unexplored lands across the Atlantic. Explorers, cartographers, soldiers, then craftsmen, farmers, builders—a string of tough individuals left the ports of Le Havre, Dieppe, and Saint Malo to exploit the free lands of America.

Port-Royal is one of the first testaments to the French presence in North America: a colony built as a fortress, it became a key fur trade post and a strategic base on the Atlantic.

We were kicked out of America by the English, but today we return with PORT ROYAL WESTERN to reinterpret Western culture the French way.

Strongly inspired by vintage American clothing, where our founder Jackson honed his skills for many years, we produce iconic pieces of Western culture with the same audacity and high standards of quality.
